A “Hostile Takeover” of a Fall River Art Museum
The Fall River Museum of Contemporary Art started in 2020, bringing a space for bold contemporary art to the Massachusetts mill town. Its latest gallery show takes the form of a ‘hostile takeover’ by the Anemic Triangle Co., which will take control of the space. The company is fake, but the threat is real. If FRMoCA doesn’t raise enough money, it may have to close its doors.

Newport Art Museum: Play / Pretend — a cross-generational exhibition exploring how imagination shapes identity from childhood through adulthood. Providence Children's Museum: Maker Studio - Mini Masters: Learn about Yayoi Kusama and create your own works of polka dot art in Maker Studio. RISD Museum: Cloth of the Earth: Indigo, Cape Verde, and West African Knowledge brings together indigo-dyed textiles and clothing from the RISD Museum’s collection, alongside contemporary West African indigo-dyed works on loan from local community member Maria Tavares, a native of the Cape Verde Islands.
