Looking for some tips on what to do this weekend and beyond? We’ve got you covered. Here are a few recommendations from Ocean State Media's afternoon host, Mareva Lindo and executive producer, James Baumgartner.
The Ocean State Renaissance Faire
This RI-sized Faire has plenty of events without being overwhelming like some of the giant faires of the Northeast, and at $15 for admission, it’s more affordable too. But there’s still so much to do: there’s music, live Dungeons and Dragons, a longsword tournament, circus performers and a realm full of characters. You can also learn how to paint a shield, take a sword fighting workshop, or hug a goat!
