Pamela Watts is co-host and reporter for Rhode Island PBS Weekly, a news magazine. A native Rhode Islander and veteran journalist, she has served the public throughout her career on both radio and television. Previously, she worked at WPRI-12 and ABC-6 in Providence where she twice won New England Emmy awards for achievement in anchoring. Since joining Rhode Island PBS Weekly in 2021, Pamela has received multiple Emmy nominations and was recently honored with a second regional Emmy for reporting and producing.

Mareva joined Ocean State Media in 2022. In 2023, Mareva received two awards from the Public Media Journalists Association for her work with The Public’s Radio, including a first-place Multi-Media Presentation award for the 2022 Elections page, and a second-place Short Documentary award for editing and co-production of “The Secret of Chiqui Versace.”

Ben covers everything for Ocean State Media, as long as it’s a good story. His work appears across television, radio, social media, and our website. He joined the station in 2021 after a stint in newspapers, and now handles our metro beat in Providence. His assignments have taken our audience to jails, city halls, fishing boats, factories, museums, bakeries, environmental cleanup sites and a clambake.

Faythann Fallon was formally the Senior Digital Editor at Rhode Island PBS and The Public's Radio, where she has been a dedicated team member for the past five years. Starting her career as the organization's Social Media and Public Relations Intern, Faythann has honed her skills in copywriting, editing, press release creation, newsletter production, and digital media management. Outside of work, Faythann enjoys reading, catching up on the latest films, and spending time with her niece and nephews. She holds a B.A. in Media Communications and a minor in Gender and Women's Studies from Rhode Island College.

Experience: 22 years as an educator, 12 as an administrator (and the principal of a Blue Ribbon School!), and 10 as a music teacher and general education teacher.

Lisa Schultz, Ph.D., has spent her entire career in education. She has worked in urban and urban-ring settings, spending more than half of her career as an administrator. Her greatest passions are creating learning opportunities for students that are engaging and at students’ “just right” levels, and supporting all learners to reach college and career readiness. Dr. Schultz is currently the curriculum director in Warwick, Rhode Island, a large city on the water mid-state. She has three young children who also share her passion for education and learning.

Tracy MacDonald is the Executive Producer of Arts and Culture at Rhode Island PBS. In 2021, she moved back to her home state of Rhode Island and started producing for Rhode Island PBS. During her first year, she created the New England Emmy and Gold Telly Award-winning series ART inc. As executive producer, Tracy works with a great team to produce our local Arts and Culture series, including the local music show "Ocean State Sessions," "Animal Talk," "Double Feature," "Story in the Public Square" and "Our Town." She believes arts and culture journalism is a powerful way to share authentic local stories that speak to a broader audience. 

When she's not working, Tracy likes to explore secret and not-so-secret places, bake pies, take photos, and read/listen to all sorts of books, magazines and podcasts.
