Steps:

  1. Start by washing your hands with soap and warm water.
  2. Next, wash the mangoes and rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. On a clean cutting board, peel the mangoes and carefully slice down the sides of the large pit in the center. Once you’ve removed the pit, cut the mango into strips or dice it, then set it aside.
  4. In a pot, add the rinsed rice and water, then cook it until fully cooked and soft, following the instructions on the rice package.
  5. In a separate small pot, combine the coconut milk, brown sugar, and salt. Whisk together over low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  6. To serve, scoop about a quarter of the rice into a bowl, pour some of the coconut sauce over it, and top with the fresh mango slices.
  7. Enjoy your delicious mango sticky rice!
