Heide hails from San Francisco but spent the last nine years in Montana where she obtained her degree in journalism with a focus on social media and audio production. She has spent her career creating and editing digital and print content for media organizations and nonprofits such as Montana Public Radio, the Missoulian, Montana Hospital Association and Zero to Five Montana. After moving to Rhode Island in 2024, she is now fully immersing herself in New England culture and enjoys baking, solving the daily NYT puzzles and spending time at the beach with her partner and their two tripod dogs, Cici and Basil, and one four-legged dog named Gary.
