NOVA ONE album release show at AS220

To celebrate the release of their latest album, “How to Kiss”, we invited NOVA ONE to play at Ocean State Media for the first Biggest Little Desk concert, our take on NPR’s Tiny Desk. You can see the full concert on our YouTube page, and listen to our interview with Roz Raskin, the band’s lead singer and songwriter. NOVA ONE will play at AS220 with openers EDT and Dogs on Shady Lane.

Bristol Bookfest

The annual event focuses on Virginia Woolf’s novel “Mrs. Dalloway.” Merve Emre will talk about Woolf’s “Radical Art of Character Reading” on Friday evening and on Saturday, features a full day of talks exploring Woolf’s creative process.

New Bedford Film Festival

The annual festival is committed to showcasing diverse human experiences through various formats, including short and feature films, student shorts, music videos, episodic and documentary shorts, and PSA shorts. There are screenings Thursday through Sunday at venues including Gallery X, The Steeple Playhouse and the New Bedford Art Museum.

Takaat at Mundo’s

Takaat means “noise” in the Taureg language. This band from Niger plays their own style of melismatic, fuzz-distorted rock with every amp turned up to 11.
