Looking for some tips on what to do this weekend and beyond? We’ve got you covered. Here are a few recommendations from Ocean State Media’s James Baumgartner and Mareva Lindo.

Vudu Sister - Album Release Concert

Keith McCurdy is the singer and songwriter for Vudu Sister. He draws inspiration from ghost stories, the macabre and ancient Greek drama. In our interview from 2024, he said, “Going to the theater, (for the Greeks), was a religious experience; it wasn’t just entertainment. So I find something very spiritually cleansing about confronting these realities. I think art is the one of the best ways to deal with some of those things.” Vudu Sister is releasing their new album, Adynata, this week and celebrating with a show featuring openers Long Kate and Eryka Fir of Coma Hole.
Where: Myrtle, 134 Waterman Ave., East Providence
When: Friday, Mar. 20, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
