Election 2024: Your Guide to Voting in RI

The voter registration deadline in the state is Oct. 6, and early voting begins Oct. 16

On Nov. 5, the voters of Rhode Island will be deciding on several key local and state offices, and weighing in on decisions about state spending on education, arts and culture, and more. And after months of campaigning that have seen two assassination attempts and a stunning change in the Democratic ticket, voters will be deciding between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Here is your guide to when and how to vote in this coming general election.

Voter registration deadline: Oct. 6;
Deadline to submit mail-in ballot applications: Oct. 15;
Early voting and emergency mail ballot period: Oct. 16-Nov. 4.
