Lively

For 35 years, “A Lively Experiment” has provided insight and analysis of the week’s local and national political events. Now, newly rebranded and restructured, “Lively” is where Rhode Islanders come together to talk about what’s really going on in our state. Each week, community leaders, local journalists, professors, and past and present local legislators join veteran journalist Jim Hummel for a smart, energetic roundtable discussion that dives into the big issues—and the everyday ones, too.

Lively airs Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at noon. You can also stream every episode in our archive.
