Ocean State Media wants to hear from you! By joining our Community Panel you become part of a group of people across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts that we check in with once-a-month to get your input, feedback, and opinions. Every time you complete one of our short surveys, you’ll receive a $5 e-gift card, and we’ll get the benefit of your valuable point of view. Use the QR code below to find out more and to sign-up.

What is the Community Panel? What am I joining? What happens once I join?
The Community Panel is one way that Ocean State Media is engaging with communities across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts year round. Joining the panel means getting an opportunity to give Ocean State Media direct feedback on initiatives, programs, local issues and a variety of other topics over the course of the year. When you join the panel, you’ll be entering yourself into a pool of local residents willing to receive a short poll each month. And, for every poll you complete, we’ll send you a $5 gift card!
How do I join the panel? What’s the catch? Can my friends and family join?
Joining the panel is super easy! All you have to do is scan this QR code (or go to this link
https://panelfox.io/p/thecommunitypanel), and you’ll be taken to a brief sign-up form where we’ll ask if you’re alright receiving emails from us, how you prefer to be contacted, and a few demographic questions. The sign-up form will also have a full description of what joining the panel entails.
There is no catch! If at any point you decide that you’d like to opt-out or delete your data from the panel, you can do so immediately. Every email has an opt-out link, and our research partners at City Square Associates are available to help with any issues. Additionally, we’ll never share your data with any third parties, and no one, including us, will try to sell you anything as a result of your participation.
Your friends and family can absolutely join! You are more than welcome to share the link to the sign up form with anyone who might be interested in joining The Community Panel. So long as they are a resident of Rhode Island or Southeastern Massachusetts, they’re eligible to participate.
How do I get my gift card after I participate?
Virtual gift cards will be sent out over email to members of the panel who participate in a monthly poll. You won’t necessarily receive a poll every month, but for every poll you do complete, you’ll earn a $5 gift card from a variety of national vendors. In addition to a monthly poll, from time-to-time we may also invite panel participants to join us or a virtual or in-person focus group or one-on-one interview. If you are selected to join one of these focus groups or interviews, we’ll send you an additional gift card (worth more than $5).
