Two people were killed and and at least nine others were injured by a gunman on the Brown University campus on the East Side of Providence on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025. The shooter walked away from the scene and a massive manhunt ensued, as police tried for days to identify a suspect.

The shooter is still at large. ‘We still have a lot of steps left to take, obviously, in this case,” Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said.
