In his role as manager of the Eastern Medicine Singers, Daryl “Black Eagle” Jamieson is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Eastern Algonquin music and culture. The group performs traditional songs and travels to various events to share their history and culture, significantly contributing to the revitalization of Indigenous music traditions. Daryl and the Eastern Medicine Singers actively participate in numerous cultural events, which can be experienced at locations such as Slater Mill National Park, Blackstone River Theatre, and various venues in Boston.
