We’re seeking an accounting manager to oversee and direct our organization’s accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance by managing staff, preparing financial reports, developing internal controls, and analyzing financial data. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation, while also providing strategic recommendations and mentoring their accounting team.

Responsibilities:

● Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepares and reviews financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and analyzes financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

● Accounting Operations: Oversees general ledger functions, accounts reconciliation, and ensures the accuracy of financial records and transactions.

● Internal Controls & Compliance: Develops and implements internal controls, ensures adherence to accounting standards and supports external audits.

● Team Leadership: Manages and trains accounting staff, provides guidance, and fosters a cohesive and competent finance team.

● Strategic Planning: Contributes to strategic thinking by providing financial information and recommendations to upper management, helping to align accounting goals with overall organizational objectives.

● Collaboration: Works with other departments to gather financial data and support sound decision-making.

Skills & Qualification:

● A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.

● 5-8 years of experience in accounting required with prior management experience.

● CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) a plus.

● Detail Oriented: A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is crucial for maintaining precise financial records.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.

● Previous experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required.

● Expertise with Microsoft Excel

● Strong skills in managing, motivating, and developing a team of accounting professionals.

● Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify patterns, and offer strategic recommendations.
